Functions and Objectives
| A. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT | ||||||||||
| 1. | To collect all taxes due to the Municipality, all licenses authorized by law or ordinance and all other charges of whatever natured fixed by law or ordinances and shall issue receipts for such collection. | |||||||||
| 2. | Receipts all taxes and charges due the national and provincial governments. | |||||||||
| 3. | Depositing and/or remitting such collections to the agencies concerned. | |||||||||
| 4. | Purchases and issue all supplies, equipment, materials and other required by the Municipality subject to the general provisions of law relating thereto. | |||||||||
| 5. | Accounts for all funds and property of the Municipality, keeping proper records of all financial transactions and records of government properties. | |||||||||
| 6. | Prepares, reviews and check the financial reports of the government for submission to the authorities concerned. | |||||||||
| 7. | Disburse funds of the Municipality in accordance with the duly authorized appropriations, upon properly executed vouchers bearing the approval of the Chief Department concerned. | |||||||||
| 8. | Conduct/disseminate tax campaign and collections within the Municipality. | |||||||||
| 9. | Keeping of all general records. | |||||||||
| B. OBJECTIVES | ||||||||||
| 1. | To collect all and or exceed the estimated revenues and improve the social approaches on the collection to tax delinquents. | |||||||||
| 2. | To widen functional capabilities of all employees with the end and view to prepare employees for the greater role in administration and supervision. | |||||||||
